easy make-ahead breakfast to grab on the go, packed with plenty of protein and
whole grains to keep you satisfied till lunch.
Ingredients
- 1½ cups quick
cooking oats
- 1 cup cooked quinoa, cooled to room temperature
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 cup ground
flax seed
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup maple
syrup
- 1/2 cup unsweetened
applesauce
- 1/3 cup AllWhites
100% liquid egg whites
- 2 Tablespoons almond
butter or other nut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cups chopped
apples about 1/4 inch pieces
- 1/2 cup chopped
pecans
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a 9x9 in. square baking pan with parchment
paper and spray with nonstick cooking spray.
2. In
a large bowl, combine the oats, quinoa, baking powder, flax seed, and cinnamon
and stir until evenly distributed.
