A deep dish crust is filled with the most decadently delicious homemade pudding that makes instant pudding from a box seem like the most ridiculous idea ever.  

Ingredients

·         1 frozen deep dish pie crust

·         1-1/2 cups sugar

·         6 tablespoons cornstarch

·         6 tablespoons cocoa

·         6 cups whole milk

·         whipped cream and chocolate shavings for garnish

Instructions

1.  Prepare the frozen pie crust according to package instructions. You're simply baking it to prepare it for the filling. Allow to cool completely.

2.  In a large saucepan, whisk together sugar, cornstarch and cocoa. Whisk in milk and stir continuously over medium heat until mixture thickens and is bubbling.
