Slow Cooker Sticky Date Pudding
Ingredients:

1 & ½ cups pitted dates, chopped
·
1 tsp. baking soda
·
1 & ½ cups boiling water
·
100g (3.5 oz.) unsalted butter, softened
·
1 tsp. vanilla essence
·
1 cup brown sugar
·
2 eggs at room temperature
·
2 cups self-rising flour
Sauce
·
¾ cup brown sugar
·
¼ cup golden
syrup
·
3 cups boiling water
Instructions:
1. In
a bowl, combine the dates with the baking soda and boiling water.
2. In
a different bowl, add the butter, sugar, vanilla and beat together until light
and fluffy.
3. Beat
in the eggs one by one until well combined.
